Carolina Bride Magazine – Issue #3

Hello everyone,

Today I would like to share another magazine feature for Lift-Off! This year I have worked with Carolina Bride Magazine on a few shoots, for the most recent issue they surprised with some really cool products to shoot. They brought some really awesome hand made jewelry and some tasty frozen treats! And then to top that off, they gave me one full page and a full two page spread in the issue!

If you are a bride to be you should definitely check out the magazine, pick one up at your local news stand or online.

Luxury on four wheels…

Today I present a beautiful luxury automobile for your enjoyment, this an Audi A8L 4.2 Quattro. Two sun roofs, supple leather, real wood trim, a V8 engine, so many great features… What more can I say about this beautiful machine? I’ll just let the images say the rest…

Making a splash with food photography…

I have had this idea for a while and finally got around to doing it. Simply put, drop some food into a tank of water and SPLASH!!! Unfortunately its not that simple, it requires careful set up, lighting, perfect timing, and some luck! But in the end I think the results were worth all of the effort! See for yourself…

Newborn life…

This past weekend I was given the honor of doing newborn images, this provided a new challenge for me as I have never done a newborn session before. But photography is about challenges and sometimes capturing life’s moments, so what better than a newborn? Little Alice was very well behaved, in fact I think she rather enjoyed having her picture taken!

I hope you enjoy viewing the following images as much as I enjoyed creating them.

Sittin’ Tall and Rugged…

This week I bring you some images of a badass Jeep Wrangler that belongs to a buddy of mine over at the local 4Wheel Parts Center. This thing is really awesome and to top it off he did all the work on it over the course of just one weekend!

Hobbies and Love…

Hello everyone, sorry for the slight delay in the blog this past week, but I have something special for you this time… Something Personal.

People that know that me well know that I have a passion for automobiles. A passion I have had since I got my first car when I was 17 years old, and ever since then I wanted a classic car. Well it took just over 15 years, but in 2012 I finally got my classic car! Her name is Lucy and she is a 1953 Ford Mainline Coupe.

But, now I was missing that special someone to go cruising with me… Well as fate would have it, just under two years later I found the love of my life, Hilary. Within six months we were engaged and set to be married this year in November!

So, it made perfect sense to me that I needed to do a photoshoot of the two of them together… Here are the photos from that shoot.

The Bike Exchange has done it again, they have built another amazing custom bike! Just to name a few features this one has a full air ride suspension, a 30″ front wheel, and one heck of an airbrushed paint jobs. The airbrushing on this bike is absolutely gorgeous, they even lined the saddle bags with velvet… Needless to say, the owner was beyond excited when he picked it up.

If you are looking for a custom bike I would highly recommend you give them a call!

Cars and Coffee Charlotte – 5/3/14

I headed out to Cars and Coffee Charlotte this past weekend, as usual got to see some great cars and trucks. I even got to drive Lucy (my black 1953 Ford Mainline) out for the day! Cars and Coffee is held on the first Saturday of each month, if you have a ride to show off or just enjoy viewing other peoples great rides you should cruise on out.

Mermaids!? For real!?!?!?

This past weekend I worked at Fintastic in Charlotte for their 22 Year Anniversary event, what a blast!

It’s not everyday you get to see a live mermaid! Not to mention all of the beautiful tropical and fresh water fish they have there for sale. Need aquarium supplies? They have got you covered. In fact, I myself and my fiance who is getting her masters in environmental science are both aquarium junkies. I even wound up buying a 135 Gallon aquarium for at home, sure to be a really fun project!

Enjoy some of the photos from the event and be sure to check out Fintastic and the mermaids on Facebook!
